Personal information includes such things as name, address, birth date, e-mail address and phone number professional qualification and photographs.
We will collect, use or disclose contractor/volunteer personal information without consent if it is reasonable for the purposes of establishing, managing or terminating a contractor/volunteer relationship between Rockdoc Consulting Inc. and you. We may use this information for the conduct of business and events that you chosen to participate in. We will only collect and use personal information that is necessary to fulfill the purposes we identified in this policy, unless we receive further consent from you. You may withdraw your consent at anytime. However, if you choose to withdraw your consent, you will not be eligible to participate on our team in any capacity. We are obligated to protect your personal information. We have controls in place that limit access to information to those who have a legitimate reason. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone. We do not share your personal information, except where required in the conduct of business that you have expressly agreed to participate in as a part of our team. We will provide your personal information where authorized or required by law, including subpoena, search warrant or court order.
We will make reasonable effort to make sure the information we have on file is accurate. You can review your personal information by submitting a written request. In the course of your relationship with Rockdoc Consulting Inc. you may be included in photographs or video images that may be taken from time to time. These photos may be used as part of our promotions and may be posted on the internet as part of our promotions or marketing.
Any disputes will be resolved according to the PIPA which provides a mechanism for independent review by contacting the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
